This report, commissioned by the Global Alliance for the Future of Food, aims to stimulate discussion about critical issues related to food systems transformation and to help guide collective action in this direction. Drawing on case studies in Nigeria, Zambia, the Philippines, Malawi, India, and the United States, the report demonstrates the benefits of assessing the “true value” of an organization’s impacts on society, people, and the environment. It presents compelling evidence that food systems transformation is possible, and indeed that it is already happening in different environments around the world.
